Description
Patients will be eligible with this study after complete surgical resection of lung cancer. Patients will get one of the three standard chemotherapy regimens and will be assigned by chance to receive either a placebo or bevacizumab.
Purpose of study
Bevacizumab has been approved for treatment of advanced stage non-small-cell lung cancer; this study will test the benefit of adding bevacizumab after surgical treatment.
You can be in the study if you are
- have recently been diagnosed with lung cancer
- have had/ or going to have a resection of the lung cancer.
